Our Story & Our Promise

At LeatherRanchCoat.com we set out to make the ultimate ranch coat. We were inspired to take our favorite style ranch coat and make it in the finest leather we could find. Along the way we added the Cowboy Bomber jacket. These are coats we ourselves like and wear everyday on the ranch and in town, from horseback to the dance floor.  We don’t just make these coats we use them! For years leather has been a cowboy’s favorite material so why not have his favorite coat done in leather. 

For our Lamb Ranch Coat we took the simple classic ranch or barn coat and made it in two of the finest leathers available. Distinctly Western but for a little dresser look we made it in a buttery soft vegetable tanned New Zealand lambskin. It has a very supple hand but naturally rugged. It is perfect for a day at the ranch or a night out on the town. The New Zealand lamb only gets better with age. It has all the features you could want with combo patch and flap and side entry cargo pockets, a zip chest pocket handy for gloves or cell phone, two inside pockets, a drawstring waist cinch, double snap side vents and a storm front closure that zips and snaps.  

Our Rough Out Ranch Coat is a more casual look we made with the finest goat suede leather in a beautiful cognac color. This rugged yet very soft ranch coat will age beautifully. The Rough Out Ranch Coat exemplifies the tradition of the West with great presence and character. It has all the features you could want with combo patch and flap and side entry cargo pockets, a zip chest pocket handy for gloves of cell phone, two inside pockets, a drawstring waist cinch, double snap side vents and a storm front closure that zips and snaps. 

Finally, we wanted to make a more sophisticated jacket for a night on the town so we made the Cowboy Bomber. We used the same vegetable tanned New Zealand lambskin as we do in our Lamb Ranch Coat. This jacket is beautifully tailored with side entry pockets and western yokes in the front and back, two generous inside pockets and the highest quality YKK zipper.
